Restaurant puts up take-away only notice

Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Chu Ngoc Anh sent an official document on July 12, announcing that Hanoi will suspend on-site services at restaurants and hair salons. Outdoor activities will also be suspended at public parks.

The local authorities have been asked to tighten inspection and fine violators such as street vendors or crowds with more than 10 people.

Hanoi authorities will tighten the monitoring of people arriving from other provinces and cities. People must have certificates that they have been tested negative for Covid-19 three days before arriving. People who visited outbreak areas must be tested again before going to Hanoi. Hanoi police will work with local authorities to set up checkpoints on main roads, ports, and airports.

Communal and ward authorities have the responsibility to monitor people who are isolated at home for 14 days. People must report to the nearest medical stations if they have any symptoms like loss of taste or coughing.

Residents have been asked to strictly follow preventive measures and only go out if necessary.
