The integrated ticketing system, launched on October 1, offers one-day and seven-day passes, according to the Hanoi Public Transport Management and Operation Centre (Tramoc).

The passes can be used across the city's subsidised bus network and its two metro lines, Cat Linh-Ha Dong Line 2A and Nhon-Cau Giay Line 3.1.
Passengers can buy tickets through the city's electronic ticketing website or the 'The ve giao thong HN' mobile app. The system supports both chip-based physical cards and virtual cards on mobile phones.
One-day passes cost VND 30,000 (USD 1.15) for buses, VND 40,000 for metro services and VND 50,000 for multimodal travel.
Seven-day passes cost VND 120,000 for buses, VND 160,000 for metro services and VND 200,000 for multimodal travel.
Passengers need only one physical or virtual card to buy and use tickets across metro lines, the BRT service and all subsidised bus routes in the city, Tramoc said.
The automated ticketing systems for buses and metro services are linked to a real-time passenger identification database to enable faster and more accurate ticket validation.
