Main streets in Sa Pa like Ngu Chi Son, Xuan Vien and Thach Son are full of pot-holes and mud and soil caused by trucks which serve construction sites.

Local people said that they have to face dust on a sunny day, while the roads are quite slippery on rainy days. They feel very disappointed when many roads in the town have been seriously damaged by overloaded vehicles.
