In the first case, police in Tay Nam Ward said a 41-year-old man was being investigated for allegedly cultivating, possessing and using cannabis.

During an administrative inspection at his home on May 31, officers found the man had tested positive for cannabis use. He later admitted the cannabis he used had been grown by himself.
A search of the property uncovered 34 cannabis plants, along with jars containing dried leaves and flowers suspected to be cannabis and homemade smoking devices.
In a separate case, police in Nhuan Duc Commune investigated a couple who tested positive for cannabis during a home inspection on May 22.
The investigation led officers to a 68-year-old woman in Phu Hoa Dong Commune, who admitted selling cannabis on two occasions.
A subsequent search of her property uncovered 72 cannabis plants weighing a combined 23.9 kilogrammes.
The woman told investigators she grew the plants as feed for chickens but occasionally sold them when asked by buyers.
Police have detained the suspect for further investigation.
