The case came to light after a video showing the driver holding a microphone and singing while operating a passenger bus was shared on Facebook on June 3.

Traffic police later identified the vehicle and summoned the driver for questioning.
He admitted to the violations and accepted the penalties.
Authorities cited him for using an electronic device while driving and failing to wear a seatbelt, offences punishable under Vietnam's traffic regulations.
Traffic police warned that activities such as using mobile phones, electronic devices, livestreaming, filming videos or singing with a microphone while driving can distract motorists and increase the risk of accidents.
