The weather is expected to reflect typical rainy-season conditions, with rainfall increasing from May and remaining close to the long-term average.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast mainly in the afternoon and evening, with some periods of moderate to heavy rain.

Temperatures are expected to ease slightly from the previous month, with daytime highs generally ranging from 31-34 degrees Celsius, although some areas could still see temperatures reach 35 degrees during drier periods.
Forecasters said alternating periods of sunshine and thunderstorms would continue throughout the month. While widespread heatwaves are not expected, hot and humid conditions may persist in some areas ahead of rainfall.
The weather agency also warned of the possibility of tropical depressions or storms forming in the East Sea and urged residents to monitor forecasts closely.
Heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds may occur during the month, potentially causing localised flooding and disrupting transport and daily activities.
