According to the Ministry of Health, six are from abroad and 242 others were locally infected.
Among the additional cases, HCM City still topped the country in the number of new Covid-19 patients with 209, followed by Hanoi (10), Phu Yen (7), Long An (6), Thanh Hoa (4), Bac Giang (3), Lang Son (1), Bac Ninh (1) and Ha Nam (1). Of the figure, 182 were detected in quarantined or locked down areas, while the others are still under epidemic investigations.

The nation’s Covid-19 death toll has reached 94.
