
The semi-final brought together 71 contestants from countries and territories worldwide, serving as a key night for judges to assess the field ahead of the final.

The show opened with all contestants appearing in evening gowns, with the national name call becoming a highlight of the segment.

Vietnam’s representative, Phuong Linh, wore a fitted red gown with a high slit. Some viewers noted she appeared tense, leading to a stumble on the train of her dress during her walk.

The swimsuit round followed, with contestants appearing in striking blue outfits.


Several candidates received strong praise from audiences, including representatives from India, Brazil, Panama and Myanmar.

Myanmar’s Jolene Myint Myat Moe was applauded for her attractive features and standout measurements.

Greece’s Ioanna Sarantopoulou impressed with her curves and confident presence.

Sierra Leone’s Marcella Momoh delivered an energetic performance that earned loud applause.

Phuong Linh regained attention during the swimsuit segment, opting for a high ponytail that highlighted a sporty, dynamic look and won support from local beauty fans.

After the two main rounds, organisers announced special awards. Best in Swimsuit went to Miss Cosmo Brazil 2025, Gabriela Borges. The remaining top five in the swimsuit category included contestants from India, Mexico, Myanmar and Panama.

The Best catwalk title was awarded to Cuba’s Amys Napoles Ochoa.
Founded in Vietnam, Miss Cosmo aims to promote the image of modern, confident and resilient women. The competition was first held in 2024 and this year attracted more than 70 international contestants.
The final will take place on December 20 at Creative Park in Ho Chi Minh City, where contestants will compete through several rounds to select the top 21, top 10, top five and top two, before the crown is decided following a final speech segment.
