The programme will run each evening from 6.30 pm to 10 pm and will combine synchronised lighting displays, music and fireworks launched from participating vessels.

Visitors on board will be able to enjoy dining services while watching the displays across the bay.

Passengers wishing to join restaurant vessels or overnight cruise ships can contact operators directly for booking information and service arrangements.

Registration requires passengers to provide their full name, date of birth, nationality and passport number or personal identification number.

Ticket prices for sightseeing vessels with capacities ranging from 48 to 100 passengers are set at VND 200,000 (about USD 7.70) per person. Dining services, including à la carte meals and buffet options, range from VND 500,000 to VND 650,000 (about USD 19.20-24.90) per person.

According to organisers, the event schedule is as follows:

On August 26, a full rehearsal will begin at 6. 30pm. Vessels will depart from Ha Long International Cruise Port and Tuan Chau International Passenger Port before sailing in formation to the performance area between Bai Tho Bridge and Cot 5 Beach in Ha Long Ward. The fleet will then return along the same route, creating a circular voyage.

The official opening ceremony will take place at 6 pm on August 27 at Ha Long International Cruise Port. Following the ceremony, the vessels will travel in formation to the display area and return via the same closed route. During the programme, all participating vessels will simultaneously stage light and sound performances and launch fireworks.

On August 28, beginning at 6.30 pm, the 72 vessels will once again depart from the two ports and follow the route between Bai Tho Bridge and Cot 5 Beach before returning. Light shows, music performances and fireworks displays will continue throughout the evening.

The event is one of a series of celebrations organised to mark the establishment of Quang Ninh City.
