The match will kick off at 8 pm on August 26 at My Dinh National Stadium.
Infantino has attended several major football events in Southeast Asia in recent years.
In December 2021, he travelled to Singapore for the opening of the AFF Cup, where he highlighted the role of football and praised efforts to strengthen the sport's development in the region.
More recently, in January 2023, Infantino attended the second leg of the 2022 AFF Cup final between Thailand and Vietnam at Thammasat Stadium.
He watched the match alongside VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan and senior regional football officials and later attended the medal ceremony.
Infantino's latest visit comes as Vietnam seek to win the 2026 ASEAN Cup after beating Thailand 2-0 at Rajamangala Stadium in the first leg of the final.
