This programme invites gifted high schools, colleges, and universities outside of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to apply to host a native English language teaching assistant for one academic year from September 2024 to May 2025.

The ETA Programme aims to support English teaching and learning at Vietnamese educational institutions. ETAs’ responsibilities include teaching English through listening and speaking while implementing cultural exchange programmes.

First launched in 2008, the Vietnam ETA programme seeks to foster English learning in Vietnam while providing for cultural exchange between Americans and Vietnamese students to promote mutual understanding and intercultural cooperation. ETAs are US college graduates eager to teach English overseas and serve as cultural ambassadors of the United States.

The deadline to submit an application is March 15, 2024.
