The standing man is shot dead while dining with a friend in Dong Nai Province on July 15.
The incident occurred on the evening of July 15 in Phu Lam Commune, when two men, aged 43 and 48, were having a meal on the front porch of a house.
According to initial reports, the 48-year-old man was suddenly shot in the arm. As he stood up to examine the wound, another shot was fired, hitting him in the neck.
Family members rushed him to hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances and motive behind the shooting.
