The southern province also broke ground on a memorial temple dedicated to fallen soldiers and people with meritorious service, while receiving sponsorship from Dong Nai City for healthcare and public infrastructure projects.

Ca Mau authorities said the province had completed a programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing for more than 9,600 households in 2025, with total funding exceeding VND 471 billion (USD 17.9 million).
However, many residents in remote and coastal areas still face severe housing difficulties.
Speaking at the event, Ca Mau People’s Committee chairman Lu Quang Ngoi said the province remained committed to replacing unsafe temporary shelters with durable homes to help disadvantaged residents settle and improve their livelihoods.
Dong Nai City also pledged financial support for several projects in Ca Mau, including three model healthcare stations in Dat Mui, Hung My and Ninh Thanh Loi communes with total investment of around VND 112 billion.
In addition, Dong Nai will support the construction of a 2.51-hectare youth park in Tan Thanh Ward with investment estimated at VND 150 billion.
Nguyen Thi Hoang, vice chairwoman of the Dong Nai City People’s Committee, said sustainable development must go beyond economic growth and include social responsibility and solidarity among localities.
As part of the event, Ca Mau also officially broke ground on the main worship hall of the provincial memorial temple project in An Xuyen Ward.
