The Youtuber nicknamed Duy Nen, a 39-year-old man in Hoang Mai District, had to pay the fine of VND12.5 million (USD543.47). He posted a clip on his Youtube channel claiming Hanoi's deserted streets were due to an ongoing lockdown.

The man admitted this was inaccurate and said he would not do this again.
Hanoi Party Secretary Dinh Tien Dung said that Covid-19 was still under control in Hanoi, so the city had not yet imposed social distancing or lockdown regulations at present. He advised people to stay indoors as much as possible.
According to Hanoi authorities, only areas that are home to Covid-19 patients are locked down. The city is trying its best to deal with the Covid-19 outbreak, he emphasised.
