The Ho Chi Minh City Military Command in Ho Chi Minh City said on Monday that search teams recovered eight additional sets of remains and several personal artefacts on July 27 while expanding the excavation at a second burial site in the park.

The latest discovery brought the total number of recovered remains to 125. The findings include five mass graves, two of which have been fully separated into individual remains, while work continues to identify and separate the other three.
The city military command said search efforts would continue, with teams working alongside forensic specialists, witnesses and other relevant agencies to locate additional burial sites.
