On July 28, police in Bao Loc Ward 3, working with Lam Dong Province Police Department, helped evacuate 16 residents from dangerous floodwaters.

Earlier that morning, after prolonged heavy rain, water flowing down from upstream inundated several areas in Bao Loc Ward 3. Water levels rose rapidly and currents became strong, leaving 16 people from five households near Bridge 3 on Xuan Dieu Street stranded and unable to get out.
Police deployed 10 officers to the scene and drew up a rescue plan to reach those trapped.
By 9 am the same day, all 16 people had been evacuated from the danger zone and moved to safety. Six of them, including elderly people and children, were carried by officers through hazardous floodwaters.

Heavy rain fell through the night of July 27 in Bao Loc Ward 3 and B'Lao Ward. By the morning of July 28, water from the upper reaches of the Dai Lao Stream and Dai Binh River had poured into low-lying areas, flooding residential neighbourhoods and production areas in Bao Loc Ward 3 and B'Lao Ward.
Some roads in residential areas and gardens were submerged under 1 to 1.5 metres of water. Rising water entered homes, damaging the property of several households.
Initial reports from authorities showed that 70 households were affected, with many homes severely flooded and residents forced to evacuate and move their belongings.
