Tuan Chau Marina opened on October 7 in Ha Long City.

Tuan Chau Corporation began construction of the VND10 trillion (USD476 million) Tuan Chau Marina in 2012. The habour has a capacity to meet 2,000 vessels.
Tuan Chau Corporation chairman Dao Hong Tuyen said the port would offer free docking services for the first six months. Tourism vessels would be given discounted logistic services.
With its proximity to Ha Long Bay, the harbour has been listed on the world's tourism map and promoted as major link to connect Quang Ninh to the world.
Tuan Chau Marina goes into operation
Quang Ninh Province chairman Nguyen Duc Long said the marina was an example of modern infrastructure and would promote the economic development of the province.
He added that the private sector was an important part of the provincial economy and that the authorities would create favourable conditions for private firms that are contributing to the province’s development, especially the tourism sector.
