
Six drug traffickers sentenced to death in Thai Binh Province on August 27.
After expanding the investigation, the police arrested and prosecuted 46-year-old Pham Van Hiep for drug trafficking. They also prosecuted his accomplices, 23-year-old Kha A Dang, 39-year-old Pham Van Kien, 24-year-old Giang A Pha, 31-year-old Nguyen Van Hoang and 38-year-old Ngo Quoc Phuong for illegal possession of narcotics.
Mai Ngoc Hieu was prosecuted for drug trafficking.
They have transported and traded a total of 21 heroin cakes, over 1kg of methamphetamine and 980 grams of ketamine.
On August 26, Thai Binh People's Court gave six death sentences to Mai Ngoc Hieu, Pham Van Hiep, Kha A Dang, Pham Van Kien, Giang A Pha and Nguyen Van Hoang.
Ngo Quoc Phuong was sentenced to 20 years in prison for illegally possessing, transporting and trading narcotics.
