Gia Lai Police said on Sunday that the bag belonged to a passenger identified from Hanoi, who was travelling on a flight from Pleiku to Hanoi on July 20.

The black leather bag, left behind in the airport terminal during check-in, also contained two bank cards and several important personal documents.
After the passenger reported the loss, the Pleiku Airport Security Team reviewed surveillance footage, traced his movements and coordinated with relevant units to search for the missing bag.
The bag was recovered a short time later. After verifying the owner's identity and checking its contents, officers returned the bag with all belongings intact.
Gia Lai Police said the prompt recovery and return of the valuables reflected the professionalism and sense of responsibility of airport security officers in assisting passengers.
