They have been sent to a local quarantine site for Covid-19 prevention. They have tested negative for Covid-19 in their first viral tests.
In an interview with the Vietnam News Agency, Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long said that Vietnam is at a high risk of another Covid-19 outbreak from the outside, as the neighbouring countries of Cambodia and Laos are witnessing a sharp rise in Covid-19 infection cases.
Long emphasised the need for Vietnamese people to stay vigilant against the spread of the virus while focusing on strictly implementing preventive measures with the hope of controlling the situation.
