More than 240 Vietnamese citizens from the Philippines were brought home on a repatriation flight which landed safely at Can Tho International Airport in the southern province of Can Tho on September 6.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the flight was arranged by authorities of the two countries and the budget airline Vietjet.
Passengers include children aged under 18, the elderly, the ill, pregnant women and those in disadvantaged circumstances.
After landing at the airport, all passengers and crew members of the two flights were given health check-ups and sent to quarantine areas.
Earlier on September 4 and 5, nearly 1,000 Vietnamese citizens from Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, andSingaporewere also brought home safely for Covid-19 prevention.
