According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorology Forecast, heavy rains will continue happening in the northern region, particularly in mountainous areas until the morning of June 27.

Rainfall is expected to be ranged at between 70 and 150mm on average and even up to 213mm in Bac Kan, 349mm in Lai Chau Province and 382mm in Ha Giang Province.
Hailstorms and strong winds will accompany the rains.
Hanoi will also experience heavy rains and strong winds.
Over the recent days, many localities in the northern mountainous areas have suffered heavy rains, flash floods and landslides that caused losses in human lives and property, especially in Lai Chau and Ha Giang provinces.
As of Tuesday evening, floods and landslides in the northern mountainous provinces had killed 19 people, injured 12 and left 11 others missing. Most of the victims are in Ha Giang and Lai Chau provinces.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged the relevant ministries, sectors and localities in the northern region to focus on search and rescue work, as well as strengthening relief efforts following flooding in the area in recent days.
