Five more security scanners have been equipped at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCM City to help ease the congestion at the airport.
The scanners are installed in the domestic terminal’s areas allocated for Bamboo Airways, Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, Vietravel Airlines and Vasco.

Currently, the airport’s domestic terminal has a total of 30 security scanners, including up to 14 at Hall A and 11 at Hall B.
The installation is aimed to help to reduce the jams at the security screening areas as summer is nearing, including the coming Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day.
The opening of all domestic terminal security screening areas over the recent days has helped to partially ease the congestion.
