Among the patients, 48 were found in Bac Giang Province, three in Bac Ninh Province and two in Hanoi.
The cases in Bac Giang have been quarantined, related to infections at local industrial parks. Meanwhile, in Bac Ninh, one has been put under quarantine while epidemic investigation is underway for the two others.
The patient in Hanoi has also been quarantined.
By 6 am today, Vietnam had confirmed a total of 6,118 locally-transmitted cases and 1,507 imported cases. Since April 27, the country reported 4,548 Covid-19 cases.
Vietnam has witnessed the 48th Covid-19 death. Around 3,043 patients have been discharged from hospital.
