The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) will take the management of the Dantri/DTiNews Online Newspaper from August 20.

Chairman of the Vietnam Study Promotion Association, Nguyen Thi Doan and Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Dao Ngoc Dung sign the hand-over minutes on August 20.
Speaking at the hand-over ceremony held on Thursday morning, former vice state president Nguyen Thi Doan, chairman of the Vietnam Study Promotion Association recounted how Dantri/DTiNews had been the voice of the association for the past 15 years. She said she was very happy to see the growth of the newspaper.
"The newspaper has always supported the development of the party and state," she said. "And it would not have been able to attract such a large number of readers if it failed to support people and became a voice of the public," she said.
The Vietnam Study Promotion Association chairman also praised the sound leadership of former Editor-in-Chief Pham Huy Hoan.
"The newspaper has developed fast with the prestigious Vietnamese Talent Awards which has become known outside the country," she said. "Under the management of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the newspaper will have more favourable conditions for its further development."
Addressing the ceremony, MoLISA's minister Dao Ngoc Dung stressed that this was an important and meaningful event for both the ministry and the newspaper.
"Dantri/DTiNews can cover a broader scale when operating under the ministry's management as now we are monitoring various fields including vocational training, jobs, labour export, and social insurance," he said. "I believe that the newspaper will further develop under the management of the ministry."
