The incident occurred around noon at a mine in Hoa Hoi Commune on April 17, where the driver was waiting in his truck to load soil for a local construction project.
A large volume of earth suddenly gave way, burying the vehicle’s cabin and trapping the victim, who was unable to escape.
Emergency responders cordoned off the site and are investigating the cause of the accident.
