The rise has been closely linked to the rally in Vingroup-related stocks, particularly VIC. At the close of trading on April 16, the stock hit its ceiling price for a second consecutive session, reaching a record VND 189,300 (approximately USD 7.40) per share and leading the broader market.

Since the start of 2025, VIC’s market price has risen more than eightfold. Other stocks tied to Vuong, including VHM, VPL and VRE, have also posted solid gains.

This year, Vingroup has set a revenue target of VND 450 trillion (approximately USD 18 billion), up about 36 per cent year on year. Post tax profit is projected at VND 25 trillion (approximately USD 1 billion), up 2.2 times and marking a record high.

In the property segment, Vinhomes plans revenue of VND 250 trillion (approximately USD 10 billion) and post tax profit of VND 50 trillion (approximately USD 2 billion), up 62 per cent and 19 per cent respectively, both record levels.

The developer expects sales growth in major markets such as HCM City, Danang and Quang Ninh, while maintaining transactions at existing projects through both retail and wholesale channels.

Beyond core operations, Vingroup is expected to receive more than VND 18 trillion (approximately USD 720 million) in dividends from Vinhomes, subject to shareholder approval of a 60 per cent cash payout. This income would directly contribute to the group’s profit.
