The incident occurred at about 10.30 am on train LP6, when a fire broke out in the third carriage from the locomotive.

Eyewitnesses reported thick smoke and flames coming from the carriage closest to the engine, prompting an emergency response. Firefighters and railway staff worked together to contain the blaze.
A traffic police official confirmed that no passengers were inside the affected carriage at the time, and no injuries were recorded.
By around 11.15 am, the fire had been brought under control and fully extinguished.
Tran Van Hanh, director of the Haiphong Railway Transport Branch, said authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
