The mausoleum and the Monument to Heroic Martyrs had previously suspended public visits to undergo routine maintenance under the 2026 schedule.

According to the command, the planned maintenance work at the mausoleum has been substantially completed, ensuring the necessary conditions for reopening.

The reopening allows domestic and international visitors to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and commemorate fallen heroes and martyrs. It also accommodates sightseeing and political and cultural activities at the historic site.

The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the final resting place of President Ho Chi Minh, is located at 2 Hung Vuong Street in Hanoi, within the historic Ba Dinh Square.
