Bui Gia Bao, 7, from Doi Binh Commune, Yen Son District, was diagnosed with the cancer two years ago. Since then, he has experienced seventeen radiotherapy sessions at K Hospital in Hanoi.

His house is very far from the hospital, so whenever coming there, he always gets up very early at 2:00 am to take coach.
Meanwhile, Bao’s father Bui Duc Long is facing Hepatitis C and required to stay at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi for treatment. But because of the financial difficulties, particularly since Bao was sick, he returned home for self-treatment.
Now, he works as a motorbike driver to earn money to support the family.
Doctor Ngo Quang Cu from K Hospital said that Bao’s treatment is very costly and would last for a long time. He hoped that the public can help.
His family currently depends on his ailing father’s modest income as a motorbike driver, while her mother must stay at home to take care of him. The boy dreams of going to school like his friends.
