Launched on December 28, the contest is designed to broaden local students’ knowledge about the regional bloc.
Each participating school is represented by three official candidates and two alternatives. The elimination tournament will play out over 18 rounds.
A number of other Vietnamese localities have planned similar ASEAN-themed contests to promote the promise of regional prosperity and solidarity inspiring the establishment of the ASEAN Community.
