Le Xuan Kien, director of the Temple of Literature’s Centre for Cultural and Scientific Activities, said that many people have called the centre to ask about when they would reopen.

The department has also asked localities to instruct tourists sites to prepare Covid-19 prevention plans. All of the sites need to apply QR scans for visitors. It was also important to avoid gatherings at the sites.
People who come to visit Hanoi’s tourist sites are encouraged to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or test negative for the virus for 72 hours. Visitors also need to use hand wash and wear masks as well as conform to other Covid-19 prevention measures.
Hanoi plans to fully reopen all tourism activities from the third quarter of this year.
This year, the city is expected to attract 9-10 million visitors, including 1.2-2 million from abroad, earning revenue of VND27.35 trillion.
