A building in Hanoi’s Bac Tu Liem District has been temporarily locked down for Covid-19 prevention after a South Korean man was found dead there on February 17

The 47-year-old man was found dead at R2 Building of Goldmark City this morning, February 17.

The information was confirmed by district people’s committee chairman Tran The Cuong.

The building has been sterilised as an epidemic preventive measure.

"The local police are inspecting the cause of the fatality. A Covid-19 test is being carried out. People at the building are requested to stay at home during the lockdown,” Cuong noted.

A Japanese man was also found dead at a hotel in Hanoi’s Tay Ho District a few days previously. He tested positive for Covid-19 and had affected some others.
