Five Malaysian crewmen rescued

Danang city maritime rescue forces and border guards in Thua Thien-Hue province have saved five Malaysian crew members from a ship that encountered trouble on December 25.

Danang city maritime rescue forces and border guards in Thua Thien-Hue province successfully saved five Malaysian crew members from a ship that encountered trouble on December 25.

Rescue forces used fishing boats and lifebuoys to save the crewmen and bring them ashore.

Five Malaysian crewmen rescued - 1

The crew rescued the Malaysian ship Onnekas One which became stranded 300m from the shore of Quang Cong commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien-Hue province.

All people rescued were sent to a hotel in Thuan An town, Phu Vang district for health check-ups and legal processing.
