Earlier, on June 16, the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran, in coordination with the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia, assisted 18 Vietnamese citizens in safely departing from Iran to Azerbaijan. On June 18, 16 of them returned to Vietnam.
The Embassy in Iran remains operational, ensuring the safety of its staff and maintaining regular contact with the remaining 11 Vietnamese nationals, most of whom are long-term residents.
Meanwhile, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has begun the registration process for repatriation and is preparing detailed evacuation plans. It is working closely with Vietnamese missions in neighboring countries and relevant domestic agencies to enable immediate action if needed.
