The bridge which has a total investment of VND500 million (USD22,727) donated by TH Group and Vietnamese Stature Foundation through the newspaper’s Compassionate Hearts Charity Fund.
The bridge is located at Khuoi Luon Village, Huu San Commune, Bac Quang District.

The 15th sponsored DTiNews/Dantri bridge was started in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang on July 26
The ground-breaking ceremony saw the participation of DTiNews/Dantri Deputy Editor-in-chief Pham Tuan Anh; Tran Thi Nhu Trang, Director of Vietnamese Stature Foundation and representatives from local agencies.
At the ceremony, DTiNews/Dantri Deputy Editor-in-chief Pham Tuan Anh said the bridge was the first example of co-operation between the newspaper and the VSF and the 15th bridge that the newspaper has helped to build in the country.

The new bridge will replace the old bamboo one
The first DTiNews/Dantri sponsored bridge was built in Tay Yen Commune, An Bien District, Kien Giang Province in 2009.
“Over the past eight years, we have helped the construction of 15 bridges," Anh said. "This has shown readers’ trust in our newspaper’s social activities. I hope that the VSF would continue co-operating with DTiNews/Dantri on other works.”
VSF Director Tran Thi Nhu Trang said that the bridge is hoped to help ease difficulties for people, particularly pupils in Khuoi Luon Village.

On this occasion, Journalist Pham Tuan Anh also granted 20 gifts for poor students in the locality
On behalf of local authorities, Nguyen Thuy Linh from Bac Quang District’s People’s Council expressed her great thanks to the support to build the bridge. She added that the locality will work with contractors to ensure the construction to be completed on the occasion of the upcoming new school year.
Last year, DTiNews also supported to build three classrooms and three houses for teachers at Bat Dai Son nursery and primary schools in Quan Ba District, Ha Giang Province with a total cost of VND800 million.
