Dantri supports students amid Covid-19 pandemic

Dantri/DTiNews and Vietnam Fund for Learning Promotion (VFLP) have sent VND200m (USD8,600) to support poor students who are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Dien Bien Province.

Pham Huy Hoan, vice chairman of the Vietnam Fund for Learning Promotion transferred the money to Dien Bien Province on July 8.

Nguyen Manh Quan, vice chairman of the Vietnam Fund for Learning Promotion in Dien Bien received the donation and expressed gratitude.

"We really appreciate the support," Quan said. "Students with difficult backgrounds are now in an even more difficult state. We'll transfer the donation to students in quarantine or outbreak areas in the province."

The Vice-Chairman of VFLP Pham Huy Hoan also sent VND300m (USD12,900) to help students with difficult backgrounds in Hai Duong Province in the previous Covid-19 wave in Hai Duong in early 2021.

The fund has transferred a total of VND1.3bn (USD56,200) to students in Dien Bien, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Ha Tinh provinces and HCM City.
