Chairman of Thanh Luong Ward, Bui Quang Khai, told Dantri/DTiNews that local authorities locked down Alley 651 on Minh Khai Street with around 300 households from 3pm on Sunday after finding 21 Covid-19 infections in the area.

People in the sealed-off area are requested to stay at home until further notice. Food and necessities delivered to them must be left at check-points and the security force will help send to every household.
Khai added that disinfection was carried out in the alley and tracing for people who had come into close contact with Covid-19 cases are underway.
The first Covid-19 patient at the company was a 21-year-old female intern who tested positive for Covid-19 on July 31.
Five other employees including Tan Ngoc Lan Company, Thien Linh Company, Minh Long Company, Lien Thai Binh Company and Hoang Minh Century Company who live in Alley 651 then tested positive for the virus. The firm has been asked to inform the staff who live in the alley to make health declarations and quarantine themselves at home.
