Dang Van Ban, 51, from Hoai Nhon Town, said that this year would mark his 30th year of Tet at sea.
Before the journey, fishermen have to arrange necessities, including products for the Lunar New Year Festival such as sweets and Chung cakes, and fishing equipment.
“We often hold a ceremony to wish for luck on the first day of the Lunar New Year,” said Tran Son from Hoai Nhon Town.
