In addition, using apartments as offices and business places in apartment buildings can disturb residents’ living and impact the general safety.

Thus, the MoC requested local authorities to check apartment buildings and guide project investors as well as apartment owners to manage the usage of their property for their interests.

In case certain complexes are divided into separate office and residence blocks, it is necessary to manage them as business and service centres. It should have appropriate approach if the office blocks do not meet construction standards and regulations.

The document has been sent to People’s Committees of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Nghe An and Thanh Hoa cities where many apartment buildings have been constructed.
