Authorities in Tay Ninh Province receive 38 people who were departed from Cambodia for illegal employment on July 3.

The group, including 27 men and 11 women, had been detained by Cambodian authorities in Svay Rieng Province for illegal entry and employment, with most reportedly working for gambling companies.

Border guards and police found that three of the returnees had previous criminal records involving theft, public disturbance, and unlawful possession of narcotics.

An additional five individuals were identified with past convictions related to murder, gambling, drug use, compulsory rehabilitation, and illegal border crossing.
