
People send food and necessities to their relatives at the Danang Hospital after the hospital is isolated on July 27.
The new patients, aged between 24 and 70, include seven patients who are under treatment and four health workers at the hospital.
Earlier the same day, the Danang Municipal People’s Committee announced the latest social distancing measures applicable for 15 days, starting from July 28.
Accordingly, residents in Hai Chau, Thanh Khe, Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son, Cam Le, and Lieu Chieu Districts are requested to stay at home and only go out in case of extreme necessity such as buying food and medicine, emergencies, and working at factories.
The residents are also requested to keep a distance of at least two metres from each other.
A crowd of more than two persons are not allowed outside offices, schools, hospitals and public places.
The central city decided to lock down three hospitals: Hospital C, General Hospital, and Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital where the patients visited just before they were confirmed positive for Covid-19.
The city also placed several streets under lockdown: Quang Trung Road (from Nguyen Thi Minh Khai-Quang Trung intersection to Dong Da-Quang Trung intersection), Hai Phong Road (from Hai Phong-Nguyen Thi Kinh Khai intersection to Hai Phong-Ong Ich Khiem Intersection), Ong Ich Khiem (from Ong Ich Khiem-Hai Phong intersection to Ong Ich Khiem-Dong Da intersection), and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Road (from Quang Trung-Nguyen Thi Minh Khai intersection to Nguyen Thi Minh Khai-Hai Phong intersection).
For the rural district of Hoa Vang, social distancing is implemented in accordance with the Prime Minister’s Directive No. 19 dated April 24, 2020.
