Phú Bài International Airport (Thua Thien Hue) will halt operations from 06:00am to 10:00pm, while Dong Hoi Airport (Quang Binh) will stop operations from 06:00am to 07:00pm on October 27.

Danang International Airport will suspend operations from 06am on October 27 until 04:00am on October 28, and Chu Lai Airport (Quang Nam) will be closed from 10:00am on October 27 until 10:00am on October 28.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has stated that Typhoon Trami poses a potential threat to the safety of operations at several airports in central Việt Nam, necessitating the temporary suspension. The Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation has been instructed to notify incoming flights to central Vietnam and ensure safe air traffic operations.

By 10:00am on October 27, the storm is forecast to reach the offshore waters of the central coast, maintaining wind speeds of levels 10-11, with gusts up to level 14. The storm will then shift to a southwest and eastward direction, reducing its speed to 5-10 km/h. Due to the slow movement and change of direction, the impact on land is expected to last over a day, from October 27 until the morning of October 28.

Typhoon Trami formed from a tropical depression in the waters east of the Philippines. It intensified into a storm on October 22 and caused devastation in the Philippines on October 23, resulting in at least 66 fatalities and the evacuation of 47,500 people due to heavy rains and flooding.
