Traders at Kim Bong Market
The market officially opened on June 14 as part of the Quang Nam Cultural, Sports and Tourism Days series, which features events throughout June across the province.
According to organisers, the market recreates a vibrant cultural space reminiscent of a mid-20th century rural marketplace closely connected with the heritage of Hoi An Town.
Visitors can explore the market at a leisurely pace, rediscovering nostalgic flavours and bringing home unique gifts to share with friends and family.
One of the highlights is an exhibition area dedicated to Kim Bong Carpentry Village, renowned for its traditional woodcraft in Hoi An.

Guests can also enjoy folk games, listen to traditional music performances and immerse themselves in local culture.
The food court showcases iconic Hoi An dishes such as Mi Quang noodles, chicken rice, sautéed clams, grilled corn and mung bean sweet soup.
“I love the food, the music playing everywhere, and especially the folk games,” said Oliver, a tourist from Australia. “People are so friendly and enthusiastic; it’s simply wonderful.”
According to officials from Cam Kim Commune, local authorities have also arranged complimentary boat rides for visitors to enjoy the scenic Thu Bon River.
