Under the province's 2021-2030 development plan, with a vision to 2050, the golf courses will be built in areas including Ea Kao Lake, Ea Nhai Lake, Buon Don, Song Cau and the Dong Hoa coastal region.

Le Hung, deputy director of the provincial Department of Construction, said the projects would form part of Dak Lak's high-end tourism and resort ecosystem following the province's recent administrative restructuring.
He said golf courses were increasingly regarded as specialised tourism infrastructure capable of attracting high-spending visitors who tend to stay longer and use a wide range of services, including hotels, restaurants, shopping and conference facilities.
Hung said destinations equipped with golf courses, luxury hotels and convention centres were better positioned to host international conferences and major events, making them more attractive to strategic investors.
He added that Dak Lak's combination of highland and coastal landscapes offered a unique opportunity to develop a distinctive golf tourism network and strengthen the province's tourism sector.
The province plans to begin construction of its first one or two golf course projects later this year.
