Chinese CEO banned from leaving Vietnam for overdue tax debts
A Chinese CEO in Vietnam's southern province of Binh Dinh has been banned from leaving the country after his construction company failed to pay taxes.

Xu Xie Feng Pei, CEO of Hong Yeung Vietnam, will be banned from leaving the country from June 24 until his company pays its overdue tax debt, according to a request sent by the Binh Dinh Tax Department to the Immigration Department.
The local tax department said the company owes over VND70 billion (USD2.78 million).
Hong Yeung Vietnam, located in the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone in Quy Nhon City, is a Chinese-invested company that specialises in construction investment.
