Another Ha Long port licensed to serve tourists
An inland waterway port in Ha Long City in the northern province of Quang Ninh has been licensed to serve tourist boats.
This is the third port in Ha Long City, after Tuan Chau International Passenger Port and Ha Long International Cruise Port, where tourists visiting Ha Long Bay can be picked up and dropped off.

The Ha Long Bay Management Board manages the 4,821-square-metre inland waterway port in the Ben Doan high-end service area in Hong Gai Ward, in the centre of Ha Long City.
At present, all tourists who want to visit Ha Long Bay must come to Tuan Chau International Passenger Port or Ha Long International Cruise Port, which is inconvenient for many people. Tourists staying in the centre of Ha Long but wanting to book a boat in Tuan Chau would need to travel approximately 40 km for a round trip.
Ha Long authorities also plan to build international passenger terminals at Cai Lan Port to accommodate large cruise ships entering Ha Long Bay.
