Singer My Tam to represent Vietnam at MTV Europe Music Awards

Singer My Tam beat out nine other candidates to represent Vietnam in the MTV Europe Music Awards 2013.

Singer My Tam beat out nine other candidates to represent Vietnam in the MTV Europe Music Awards 2013 (MTV EMA 2013) in the Netherlands.

Singer My Tam

The organiser of the voting process received 68,257 votes for 10 candidates. My Tam topped the list with 33,795 votes, or nearly 50%. Other candidates included Dong Nhi, Band 365, Thu Minh, Noo Phuoc Thinh and others.

The MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) was established in 1994 by MTV Networks Europe to celebrate the most popular songs and singers in Europe. Originally an alternative to the American MTV Video Music Awards.

In the first round My Tam will first compete against five candidates from Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.
