DIFF 2026 will feature 10 teams competing across six nights, with each performance night following a thematic journey - Nature, Heritage, Culture, Creative, Vision and United Horizons.
Participating teams will include two from Vietnam and international representatives from China, Italy, Germany, Portugal, France, Japan, Macau (China) and Australia, according to the draft plan presented at a meeting chaired by the Danang People’s Committee.
Fireworks displays will continue to be launched from the Han River Port area, with the main grandstand and stage located along Tran Hung Dao Street, maintaining the same venues as previous editions.
The organisers also dismissed recent online speculation about relocating the fireworks site to other areas along the Han River.
The festival will be held under the direction of the Danang People’s Committee, with Sun Group and Apollo Trade and Communications as implementing partners.
According to the organisers, DIFF 2026 aims not only to showcase world-class fireworks performances but also to present the image of a newly expanded Danang strengthening its regional and global connections.
