According to leaders of Doc Lap Commune, the seven charity houses were initially expected to be completed shortly after the Lunar New Year holiday in 2026. However, progress was delayed due to various objective factors. The remaining six houses are now being built at pace and are expected to be completed in June.

In response to the government’s campaign to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing, Dantri has set a target of building 200 houses for poor and near poor households, as well as those in difficult circumstances, nationwide over the period 2024 to 2025.

Since April 2024, Dantri has launched construction on 254 houses, of which 220 have been completed.

In addition to housing projects for disadvantaged families, Dantri has built 58 classrooms, 32 rural bridges and roads, and 50 floating houses for flood prevention. It has also organised 32 free medical check up and consultation programmes for more than 6,000 people, provided 7,210 health insurance cards to disadvantaged students, and launched fundraising campaigns to support nearly 6,000 families in particularly difficult circumstances.
